Is sedation dentistry safe for me?

A man smiles | Sedation Dentistry in St. Paul MNWe will take a thorough medical history and review your medications and,  possibly,  consult with your doctor if appropriate before determining if you are a candidate for sedation dentistry.  Most people are good candidates for sedation dentistry.  We will continuously monitor your pulse, blood pressure and blood oxygenation with a pulse oximeter during your treatment.

The protocol that we use was developed by Doctors for Oral Conscious Sedation (DOCS)  and has been used hundreds of thousands of times with an unparalleled safety record.  The medications are near instantly reversible with a reversal agent that we keep on hand along with other emergency medications. After hundreds of sedation appointments we have had no occasion to use the reversal agent.
