Porcelain Veneers in St. Paul, MN

Porcelain Veneers St. Paul MNIf you want to improve the appearance of your teeth without multiple procedures, porcelain veneers are an excellent option. Veneers allow us to create the illusion of perfection by placing strong, thin porcelain shells over your natural teeth.

Veneers allow us to correct cosmetic flaws such as:

•    Stained teeth
•    Misalignment
•    Gaps between teeth
•    Shortened or chipped teeth
•    A non-uniform appearance
•    Wear/erosion

The Smile Design Process

Chances are if you want to change the appearance of your teeth, you have seen a smile you admire on someone else. When we talk to you about improving how you look, we will discuss your vision so that you can have the smile of your dreams.

Dr. Terry O’Neill will expertly design a natural look that complements your facial features. The shade, shape, and size of your teeth are all important factors that you can see. Other factors such as your bite and jaw function are not visible when you smile but are important to the comfort and long-term success of your dental care.

Since Dr. O’Neill has thirty years of experience in creating beautiful, healthy smiles, you can count on results that will give you confidence and comfort.

How Dental Veneers Work

Once your smile design is complete, Dr. O’Neill will have your custom veneers created by our trusted dental lab. Veneers are made of porcelain and look natural, with texture and color that will closely resemble natural teeth.

At Highgrove Dental Care, we use a less invasive method of prepping your teeth than with traditional veneers. We remove healthy tooth structure only when necessary. This benefits our patients in a couple of ways:

Less sensitivity – Since we do not need to remove a large amount of enamel, your teeth will stay comfortable even when drinking cold beverages.

Less tooth prep – Because we only remove a small amount of tooth structure, we dramatically reduce the amount of time it takes to prep your teeth.

Once we prep your teeth for your veneers, Dr. O’Neill will permanently bond them to your healthy tooth structure and make small adjustments to ensure a good fit.

Caring for Your Veneers

The best way to get the most out of your investment in your dentistry is to maintain proper oral hygiene. Just as you do with your natural teeth, brushing and flossing is essential to healthy veneers. Regular dental appointments will allow us to check each veneer and make sure it is damage free and that your supporting teeth are completely healthy.

Professional dental cleanings keep your gums and teeth in top shape so that your smile stays comfortable, healthy, and beautiful for many years to come.
